Pictures & an update

Update on grandma: She is doing okay/fair. The hospital used some tape on her, she reacted to the tape, and it blistered her skin near her staples. OUCH is right! She is starting to move around a bit more each day, but will take a while to recover!

Thank you for your continued prayers!

Brother and dad left for Boy Scout camp in NM on Saturday. They will be back next Saturday. These are the few picts he would allow me to take. He got a major haircut but I could only bargain one pict of the hair with out the hat on.

An update & You know what...

Update on grandma: Nothing really new yet. My mom and sister are with her this weekend as my dad/brother leave for a week to attend Boy Scout camp in NM. Dad is a tad, OKAY REALLY, worn out and I am hoping he will get sleep tonight as well as that 12 hour bus ride tomorrow night. My grandfather is the concern right now too as grandma takes care of him. Right now...they are in the best of hands and I hope/pray that they continue to be.

Okay...now onto some thoughts that I have...please bare w/me as it has been an emotional roller coaster these past couple of days.

** My cousins had a knock-down-drag-out w/words at the hospital the other day and my dad basically said...My mother is sick and I don't need this right now. They had nerve.

** My not nice cousin, you know from grad weekend, told my 2nd cousin that gma is doing great and trying. Well she had 1/2 of it right. Gma is trying but not doing great. LIFE IS NOT all ROSEY! UHHHH...come on...tell the truth!

** I cried on the highway today. It was actually good as it let me get out some of my emotions w/o causing a scene. The lack of sleep, emotional roller coaster kind of gave me a rough time, but by the end of the day; I was much better!

** I am waiting for the day for the phone not to ring at 11pm. Seriously...when that happens...life will be grand! It's okay if it's family, but no one else ;)

Thank you all for your love, prayers, and support. It truly means the world to my family!

Wordful Wednesday...Pray for Stellan

Prayers for Stellan
Click on the button to see updates

Stellan, MckMama's youngest is in the PICU and not doing so hot right now. His heart is in SVT, which is supraventricular tachycardia and is having a really tough time. By gosh he is only 4 months old! My whole world is praying for this little guy. His mama brings bloggers together each Monday for Not Me Mondays and encourages those around her. Let's give her encouragement and pray for sweet Stellan and the MckFamily!

Even though I do not personally know the MckFamily BUT they have impacted my life in many ways. MckMama is real and she has introduced me to many of my blogging friends. She gives me inspiration and encoragement! Right now, I am paying MckMama back by doing what I can do...praying hard for Stellan. We may not understand God's plans, but HE hears us praying!

Esther has created the Pray for Stellan vigil website that is going on NOW! Check it out and sign up or commit to pray for Stellan. You can choose hours, times, or just when ever you want. The power of prayer DOES work...so join us in prayer for this little miracle named Stellan!

FIGHT STELLAN FIGHT

Wordful Wednesday is hosted by Angie who allows us to say what we want and still have a "Wednesday" theme. Stellan is in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be. My heart aches for the MckFamily as they face the "unknown." Fight STELLAN fight! You are such a strong little boy already...keep fighting!

Calling all prayer warriors

Calling all prayer warriors: my Nonni (mom's mom) is in the hospital with pneumonia. The doctors are aggressively treating her with IV antibiotics and she is also on Oxygen. She got the whole lights and sirens ambulance ride because her oxygen levels were in the very low 80s. Please pray for healing and recovery for my sweet Nonni!

**Update: Nonni is still in the hospital and on the Oxygen as well. I talked to her at 9:25pm and she sounds okay. Still not her good ole self, but slowly getting better. I know pneumonia takes time to rid too :( She thinks about two more days in the hospital though. I told her about the prayer post and she sounded relieved and thankful.
