Is anyone else having blogger issues? My formatting is not working and I spend way too much time trying to get it right. Any ideas? I need help!

I want & need your advice...PLEASE
I start Student Teaching a week from Wednesday (gulp)! I need your advice, suggestions, and opinions on what I can and can not wear while ST. I understand no low tops or pants (which I don't do anyway) but what do you like to see on your kids' teachers and friends? What is in style? Anything I should absolutely not wear? What do you like seeing on teachers?
To help you with your thoughts, I know that I will be in first grade through March 12th and then will be in forth grade through the beginning of May. I think I'll do more pants for first grade but have no sense of style. {Can't believe I am admitting this but it's true}
I need ideas for what to wear, combinations, what would look great, and what I should never attempt to wear together. I am six feet tall and wear a size 11/12 in Mens {that's 14/15 in Women}. I am looking at flats, that I can find, and closed toed shoes. I am no where near a size six, in size, right now but am working on it. I don't particularly like shopping for myself, let alone clothes, but am in desperate need of the teacher look!!
Ready...set...go (tell me what you like to see on teachers and professionals)!!
I really value your opinions and advice!!

I need YOUR BACKBONE help...
Okay ladies and gents- I need your help!!
I have trouble (and get shy/quiet) when people try to go against me and I need some BACKBONE help.
This came on when I became the Editor of my school paper. We have a few people that I can not stand up against, for the life of me. While I try, I fail and feel let down since I want to take charge and can't.
I have always had trouble standing up against some who seem to intimidate the life out of me.
I don't know why it's easy for me to stand up and stand firm, in what I believe, with some people.
SOOOO... I need your tips, advice, and suggestions for a {stronger} backbone. Anyone is welcome to give comments, suggestions, or advice; I just need YOUR advice.

I ant crazy after all...
Some of you may be wondering why my ain't is not spelled correctly and the truth of the matter is that I have ants...in my apartment...oh joy! It started a few weeks ago by a few here and there but this week...I have been seeing more and more. They start around my bathroom sink and up my shower walls...then tonight (yuck) they were in my closet & on some of my clothes.
Now I have beengoing crazy itching the last few days, here and there, and tonight I found ants...on my workout clothes...that I workout in. I am so glad I have not been going crazy thinking something was crawling on me. I am pretty much CLUELESS on what to do. I called my apartment and someone is coming to spray Monday...but having ants ant cool!
So I am asking you...what do you use to spray or spread in your home to get rid of pesky ants that do not belong?! I am open to all suggestions and welcome them all :) I am just glad I have not been going crazy seeing ants :o

I want your insight/ideas
Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I would like to get your insight on something. I am in the process of gathering items and a few things for the MckFamily as I type this. What do you give while a mother is in the hospital with her sweet son while dad/family/friends man the fort back at home with three other little ones? I am creating a little bag for each child as well and also trying to pick up a few odds and ends when I see something appealing.
A few things I have already gotten:
** Subway card
** Snacks for MckMama and family...trail mix, nuts, choc chip cookies (since she likes them)
** Bags for all four kiddos
I want to make an impact for this family since MckMama has already done so for me. Any ideas are greatly appreciated :)

Teacher/Mom question...about glue
Hi guys...hope you are having a great Saturday. Listen, I have a question for all of you. Don't laugh, I really mean this one.
What kind of glue do you recommend for pasting things down?
Do things stay stuck after you use this glue?
*********************************************************
You see, I am in an art class that is requiring a bunch of pasting and I am tired of re-gluing after gluing because the glue won't stay down and stick. I have tried Elmer's (purple on dry clear) stick and UHU Stick Glue (purple on, dries clear). I am curious to see what you guys think is the BEST one. Remember, I want it to stick and stay stuck on the paper.
***********************************************************
Your help is greatly appreciated

Question for fellow bloggers...help...completed
Ok! Because some of you are geniuses and are full of answers...here is my question. How do you put a line through something you just wrote? I want to be able to do this then write something without a line through it afterwards. I have seen other people do this and have NO IDEA HOW. Any help is welcome!
THANKS LORI, LIZ, and J.A.G...YOU all rock!

I just knew...
Today was a busy day for my family, who took down all of the Christmas decorations. Dad and I had the joy of putting them all away in storage. Knowing that I needed a break, I volunteered to go to Healthy Approach to grab some safe yogurt and safe trail mix. While I was in line, a child in front of me had a meltdown and I knew immediately that he was autistic.
Just the way he was acting caused me to guess and I was right on the dot. K had autism and was already upset because Healthy Approach was out of something he wanted. His mother tried to reason with him, but nothing helped. He just sat on the floor and screamed. Causing a sight, his mother looked embarrassed and kept apologizing. I asked the mother if there was anything I could do and knowing that she was on the brink of tears, I sat on the floor with the screaming K. The store was out of the food that he wanted, but I had a safe chocolate bar in my basket. Before I got on the floor, I asked the mother if I could see if this would advert his attention, she said it was worth a shot. So, I asked K if he wanted my chocolate bar, he said no at first, but then as I opened it, he said yes.
K was still upset with the fact that Healthy Approach was out of his food, but the candy bar in a sense saved the day. After he was given the candy bar, I asked him what was wrong and he told me. I asked him if he liked the candy bar and he said yes. After settling down, he got up and headed for the door. His mother looked at me in shock that her son responded to me, thanked me, and left with her son.
It was my turn next to check out and the woman who checked me out asked how I knew and I told her that "I just knew that K had autism." I have never met this family before and probably will never see them again. I am just glad I was there to help with the situation.
Today was a sign that I am meant to be a Special Ed teacher. No circumstance in perfect as life is not perfect, but being able to help a child is my goal and today it was reached. In the future, I plan to help kiddos and I understand that some may react differently than others, but the way I come off as an individual does/will pacify the situation at hand.
