Are you kidding me??? Seriously?!?!

This morning, I took a cold bath. Why you ask?

Currently, I have no hot water!!!

I called my apartment office and they said it could be until tomorrow afternoon until it is fixed. Fan-flippin-tastic. You can tell I am just a happy camper right now (said in my most sarcastic voice.)

Today has just not been my day!

Reasons I love living alone...

* I can (try) to dance and have no one tell me how foolish I look.

* I can watch a movie and not have to care if I disturb anyone else.

* I can be a clean, neat freak and clean twice a week.

* I can take a shower at midnight.

* I can work out in my living room and not have anyone there to watch.

* I can cook whenever I have the urge to.

* I can sing while no one else is around.

* I can lay low on the weekend and have no one in my way.

* I can organize and decorate how I please.

* I can yell at the television during the football games.

* I can try new things without an audience!

I ant crazy after all...

Some of you may be wondering why my ain't is not spelled correctly and the truth of the matter is that I have ants...in my apartment...oh joy! It started a few weeks ago by a few here and there but this week...I have been seeing more and more. They start around my bathroom sink and up my shower walls...then tonight (yuck) they were in my closet & on some of my clothes.

Now I have been going crazy itching the last few days, here and there, and tonight I found ants...on my workout clothes...that I workout in. I am so glad I have not been going crazy thinking something was crawling on me. I am pretty much CLUELESS on what to do. I called my apartment and someone is coming to spray Monday...but having ants ant cool!

So I am asking you...what do you use to spray or spread in your home to get rid of pesky ants that do not belong?! I am open to all suggestions and welcome them all :) I am just glad I have not been going crazy seeing ants :o

Curveballs & life

HI everyone...hope you all had a great Wednesday. Bare with me as I have a bunch to say and it's not really organized...what a shock! Also...scroll down for more posts! This is my 3rd post of the day...WoW...I know!

** I am asking you to pray for my Nonni as she is having trouble getting over illness and is really sick right now!

** I am tired, a wee bit stressed, and just ready for class to be over with. YES, I only have two more days, but after taking 19 hours this spring...I have a little spring fever. Oh and the fact that I did not sleep well last night sure does nothing for the entire situation. I have a huge paper due Friday morning that also needs to be completed too...oh yea...no stress at all...right?

** Someone asked me today if life had slowed down and I don't really think so! After my sister's graduation is over with and done...I believe it will though! I intend on putting a "out of office" message on my emails, still blogging, and taking my summer in stride. After this class, I am not taking any further classes till the fall. For my sanity...I need this summer! Ya know?!

** I think there is a smoker next door to me. It was not apparent until today. My bedroom has the brunt of the smell...not that strong, but is a tad apparent. Know of a good air-freshener that I can use? Nothing too strong, but smells great???

** I am a tad irritated with my soy food allergy. You see, when something that I can't have is made Gluten/Wheat free or nut free, it has soy in it. Hello...I am allergic to SOY, wheat, gluten, nuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, and modified food starches. I don't want things just to be wheat/gluten free or soy free...I want to be able to eat what is FREE of all my allergies. YES, there is allergy free food out there and I eat a bunch of it daily, but I would LOVE to eat waffles or pancakes again...yes...I miss them! Now off of this rant...just had to get it out!

Now I am off to read through articles and *hopefully* head to bed early! Have a great evening!!!!

I like to move it, move it & pictures

So this past weekend, I moved (insert praise now)! We started at 10:30, finished by 12:30, put some final touches on the new place, and then moved onto lunch. I then proceeded to unpack that Saturday evening and completely finished (insert gasps here)! It was a great, cool, and 100% humid day :) I am ever so thankful for friends who care and go above and beyond their call of duty. Without further adue:

A series of events happened between 5 and 5:30am this morning that I thought I would share. You know, I have have had a rat problem, found six dead to be exact. Well, I don't appreciate waking up and having a RAT crawl across my BARE feet in the morning, especially at this hour! He, I assume, went behind my water heater and I hope he stays there!

Let me tell ya, if something that gross has not crawled across your feet; consider yourself LUCKY! This is another reason why I am so glad I am moving this weekend...not a great way to start my morning! Still grossed out even after a shower! Hope you have a much better morning than I did!
