Now doing MUCH better...

I must be a real popular person since I had 21 words of encouragement and support this week. It meant the world to me and I am very appreciative. This week was a toughy, but it is over. Celebration time!!! Thank you all for your love and support this week! You all rock my world...literally :)

Because of you...

Today was a very difficult day to say the least. With prayers keeping me strong and little sleep to gain, I charged through the day. With water on hand and trail mix full of energy...life charged forward. Thank you for all your prayers. Unfortunately...my uncle died at 2:40pm today. Thank you for all of your prayers through this trying experience. Thank you for helping me get through this day.

As if my news could not get any better right now...I know...I have to get up at 5:30AM (4:30 my time) to prep for a presentation that was moved foward. What did I ever do to deserve this??? I know I can handle it, but seriously!!!! Now I must head to bed...

Thanks and still doing fine with little sleep

Thank you to everyone who commented on the post before this one :) I have actually done quite well today. Yes I am tired, but right now I am still kickin' and still not happy about having to attend a 9pm meeting either. Rest assured that I will get some sleep tonight and even more on Wednesday night. You all rock my socks off...seriously with the sweet comments.

As for laying off the caffeine-I only drink coffee in the morning and have had a whole coffee pot before and slept fine that night. It is not still in my system :) And for laying off the caffeine, I actually do. I usually only drink water after 4pm.

Thanks for the thoughts and advice. I do read every comment and love reading "hearing" your opinions.

LOVING this Tuesday morning

This morning, I opened my blog and saw that I had TWO new followers and 19, yes 19 comments on my Monday post. Seriously, I have never received 19 comments in my life. I am sure LOVING my Tuesday morning this morning! You guys are AMAZING and make my day. I am also loving the sweet comments these ladies left me on Monday. I have found some new blogs to read and I am EXCITED, can ya tell? THANKS for all the sweet and encouraging comments!!!!

This man has meant the world in my life. He worked for my church back at home and was such an inspiration. He died yesterday and will never be forgotton. Thanks Lonnie for ALL that you did!!!!

No news..which is hard for me

As far as I know right now, I do not know my test grade from Monday. Today, I have another test at 9am. Not looking forward to it, but as soon as it is over a huge weight will be lifted. I usually do not handle no news well, but I am surprised that I am not as anxious as I could be.

The one thing I am not looking forward to is the drive there. There is a major storm system moving in and I will probably have rain the entire way. I am fine with driving in the rain, but storms kind of throw me in for a loop. Oh well!! I am leaving with plenty of time to spare just in case!!!

Again...

Again, I must say, I have been dignosed with a Sinus Infection. Oh yes! I talked to my primary doctor about the possibility to take my adnoids and tonsils out. He said that he would reccomend it, so now I am going to talk to my Allergist/Pulminologist on June 30th. My parents are actually the ones who suggested that we talk to the doctor, since some of their friends have had this done and it worked. We are also going to look at my blood levels to see if something is off too. Just what I need now!

On another note: My test went better than the first one yesterday. I think I did well and I am now waiting for the test results. Thank you for your prayers.

Happy Father's Day dad...

My dad is such a special person. He makes me laugh, he makes me proud, and he is proud of my accomplishments and who I have become.

This Father's Day, he is in Germany at a conference. Is he happy about this?? NOOOO! But he does it because that is a part of his job!

My daddy works so hard to provide for our family and I can not always expect my gratitude! He makes me feel so special and I appreciate that. He never makes me feel like an outcast and I can always tell him how I feel!

THANK YOU DAD for everything that you do for me and our family!!!

My dad is a very special man in my life and will ALWAYS be! He comforts, he nurtures, and he even takes my mind off the bad. He is an AWESOME father and I LOVE HIM so much!!! Have a great Father's Day and tell some man in your life how you feel!

Tuesday night ramblings...

So about 20 minutes ago, I said I was going to bed, but it has not happened yet.

As for an update on my allergy junk-I am still itchy, but it is not as bad tonight! I am hoping that it is turning for the better:).

Tomorrow my brother is getting some kind of award, so I have to be up, dressed, and fed by the time we leave at 7:15am. Oh boy! I am in for a very morning! But it is all worth it for my baby brother. He is no baby anymore, but being 7 years younger, he will always be my "baby" brother. So anyways, he is also preparing for a speech he has to give on Thursday. It is over Japan and it has to be 5-10 minutes. I never gave a speech that long in 6th grade. Poor kid has to say the right pronunciations on all of the Japanese words. So guess who has been helping him? You guessed it-ME! So, my brother and I am bonding while I help him with his homework!

Other than that, there is not much to discuss but,

THANK YOU to ALL of my BLOGGER BUDDIES who support me DAILY!! You all make me feel so awesome and lift me up daily! I do not know what I would do without YOU!!! Even if you do not comment, hearing you say that you read and uplift daily is more than enough!!!

Sunday post...oh boy

Hello fellow bloggers~

It is Sunday and the weather is nasty outside. What happened to the 80+ degree weather? I have no idea. As of right now, it is 50 degrees and drizzling. What a change! Enough about the weather!

I loved being home this weekend. On Friday night, my family and I went to by uncle's 50th birthday party, then went for a church picture. What an evening. Then on Saturday, dad grilled burgers, I made a spice cake (w/o soy, wheat, gluten, or nuts)! It was so good. The whole family devoured it. Now I know it is a keeper. Dad also made chicken and green beans for dinner. They were both so good!!! Then I got back to Abilene about 11ish, but was not tired at all. So I stayed up really late, then we had a leak in our room. It was just an eventful night after all.

This morning, I went to church, worked at church, visited some friends, and am now back in the dorm. I am VERY tired and did not get much sleep last night, so I am hoping to be in bed by 10ish tonight.

This week should be eventful since I have finals the next week (May 5-8), so I hope I can just keep up and not get that stressed. A girl can only dream!! Now I have homework to do and just made some fresh coffee to keep me company, so I am off.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday! Remember to relax! I think I need to take my own advice. Oh well!
