Better than expected...

Just wanted to let ya'll know that I did better than expected on my second exam. I increased my score by 12 points and I call that victory. Now the waiting game is on for the third exam. Oh well. This weekend, I have an extra credit paper worth 25 points that will be consuming my weekend. I have to do the format in Chicago/Turabian style-which I have never done. The paper can be up to 7 pages and must have other sources besides the book-Yippee (not).

I have not written this kind of paper in a while, so the Internet may be my best friend this weekend!!! :)

This weekend will basically just be busy, but that is okay!!!

Have a great night!!!

No news..which is hard for me

As far as I know right now, I do not know my test grade from Monday. Today, I have another test at 9am. Not looking forward to it, but as soon as it is over a huge weight will be lifted. I usually do not handle no news well, but I am surprised that I am not as anxious as I could be.

THANK YOU for all your prayers.

The one thing I am not looking forward to is the drive there. There is a major storm system moving in and I will probably have rain the entire way. I am fine with driving in the rain, but storms kind of throw me in for a loop. Oh well!! I am leaving with plenty of time to spare just in case!!!

THANK GOODNESS IT'S FRIDAY!!!

Ramblings of Monday

This morning I got up at 5am. Yes you read that right, 5am. I had to get up and drive to Abilene this morning to take my first exam for my summer class. It was HARD but went well! I will have the grade later this week;) After my exam, I ventured around campus and then went to visit an advisor of mine. Her name is Terry and she works in the library. She is so supportive of me and really cares!!! I surprised her and we talked for a little over an hour. Then I went to Cracker Barrel for lunch. They messed up my order and so I got it FREE!!! What my luck! Then visited with friends and ventured home. Just got home about 30 minutes ago and am TIRED!!! One long weekend plus today=a very tired person!!!

Some things I learned today:
* Terry worked with the FLDS kids who were removed from their homes and she said that they believed that the color red was the color of the devil and that short sleeves meant that you worked with the devil. This is one of the reasons why they wear pastels and long sleeves.

* There is NO traffic at 6am!!!

* Cracker Barrel has AMAZING food!

* 18 wheelers are nice to you if you are nice to them :)

* Campus life around colleges is quiet in the summer.

So I hope everyone had a great day and I will post about this last weekend tomorrow! I am VERY tired and not thinking straight, so I will have an awesome post tomorrow!

Have a great night!!!
