Unexpected blogging break

The past few weeks have been rough and difficult for several reasons. Between school, work, planning, my life, juggling many things, and the hours in the day, I have been lacking in the blogging department. This was not intentional. It just happened. I do have lots to share and hope to be able to formulate a post soon. Please know that I will be back this week.

I'm alive & back

Talk about a whirlwind of the past few weeks. Christmas, New Years, and then Cotton Bowl weekend all back to back. In the middle of things, we had school and practice (for my brother), taking down Christmas (all), snow and freezing weather (today and this coming week), lots of people in and out of our home, and very little time for blogging. It was an unscheduled break.

Stay tuned this week, hopefully tomorrow, when I ask for your advice and opinions.

Taking it all in...

Got up at 5AM this morning.
Packed and showered.
Cleaned and cleaned.
Rechecked everything I packed.
Got my morning coffee.
Hit the road.
Took around 3 hours to get home.
Saw eight accidents and dozens of state troopers.
Had to take an alternate route twice.
Hoped to heaven I was going the right way.

Stopped for more coffee.
Got home.
Checked my email.
Hung out with my lap dog.
Unpacked my car.
Went to storage with dad & got all the Christmas decorations.
Filled the garage with boxes.
Started to decorate and cook.

Went for more coffee and to the grocery store.
Finished the marathon, in the grocery store.
Went to the pharmacy.
Unpacked groceries.
Hung out outside.
Did some homework.

The rest is still to come and it's only day one of my break! Time IS flying by so fast!!

I am currently packing and preparing to return to collegetown.

I am hanging out with my family and enjoying my last few moments

with them. I am nervous about my senior year. I am excited, nervous,

and scared! I am thrilled to be a senior and am excited to just get out!

I love college but am ready to do my job. So now I have to take test

after test and get ready for the work world...eek!

I'll be back, in school, on Monday & can't wait to share with you!

A reminder...in a good way

Lately...I have had a few reminders from fellow bloggers that Thanksgiving break is near and I will survive! So yes...the countdown to Thanksgiving break has begun and I am more than THRILLED...I can almost taste it :o Sure the next two and a half weeks will be TOUGH and full of projects & tests! BUT the light of Thanksgiving is among us all. I have Wednesday-Sunday off that week and I am thrilled and VERY excited!!! Sure there will probably be things I have to work on over the break...but it is a break and I will take what I can get :)

SOOO...the countdown has begun.

Rough waters ahead

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that with my sister graduating, my family in town this weekend & all the festivities, I will be able to use the computer sparingly. So...this is your warning for the lack of posts! Also...my new internship has started out GREAT! I have been working a bunch and so blogging has taken a back seat, but I will eventually find a balance. Hope you all had a great week!

Spring Break begins

So I just wanted to update and say that I am on Spring Break this week. My dad had a conference in Carlsbad, CA, so the family all came down to have a relaxing couple of days. I am loving the weather here. The high today is 65, yes, the wind is gusting, but it is so nice!!! Today, we are going sight seeing and just hanging out.

Just wanted to update and I will post more when I get home!

I needed this break! I am just relaxed and not worrying about school. I do have some stuff to do, but I will do that this coming weekend and the Monday after Easter, since I do not have school!
