Thursday's Thoughts...

Ok-today is over and here are my thoughts for the day. Angie and Nonni-I am getting the extra sleep I need.

* I am NOT doing homework tonight.
* I am in bed right now-what a shocker I know!
* I have accomplished so much today
* Life is full of surprises :)
* I am so very glad that tomorrow is Friday
* Fall weather will be disappearing soon according to the weather channel :(
* No AC has been needed for 2 days/nights
* People need to not be mean to each other
* I have not talked to my mom or dad in two days
* I would advise that no one call me after nine, yes nine, tonight since I will be sleeping
* I observe in the classroom tomorrow
* I have a weekend full of HW to do
* I am so blessed :)

Why me...

I was told that it would take 7-10 days for recovery and then a "light bulb" would go off and I would feel much better. Well, I am on day 10 and I still do not have energy, my taste buds are off, and I am in pain-really bad pain.

So I am asking for all of you to keep me in your prayers. I want to feel better and need to, but something is just not going right. PLEASE PRAY for me to feel better and get rid of this pain.

The kicker is that we have a "surprise" luncheon for my dad tomorrow with his work and boss. I at least need to be able to stand and smile-so great!

Trying to look up!!!

Thirsty Thursday...

Why do you ask about the title? This blog is full of blogging information. It will be full of information that you are thirsty for. YAY!!!

Let me see what has happened in the past two days:
* VBS is going GREAT. The night one is much more lax than the morning one, which is fine.
* VBS crafts for the preschoolers are great and VERY EASY!!!
* I broke my toe on Wednesday during the AM VBS. It is the third toe on the right foot. Great, I know (hint of sarcasm).
* When it rains in Texas, it POURS buckets!!! Take a wild guess and say it rained!
* FUMC of Grapevine pastors are great entertainment. Our children's pastor has worn a pink haired wig and had two pies (head/face) put on him for the children exceeding the mission raising each day. It is pretty hilarious!
* Patience is REQUIRED for teaching Preschool :)
* YOUTH helpers are great to entertain kiddos!!!

Now onto school business: I have my final on July 3rd. I have 3 papers to complete. One due on Saturday, one due on Monday, and another due soon. Plus I have three chapter quizzes to take and assignments to do! What a wonderful gift!!!

Also-VBS morning and night makes one VERY TIRED!!! Oh well!

Thankful Thursday...

I am trying something new for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I will see how it goes.

I sometimes have to remind myself that I am so BLESSED with the family that God has given to me. We may not always get along, but they are my supporters and I would not have it any other way:)

10 things I am thankful for:

* Air Conditioning/fans
* Fresh fruit
* Troops who fight for our country
* Clean water
* Iced Tea :) I know I am addicted!
* Soft sheets
* Electricity
* Dishwashers/Washers/Dryers-stuff that helps in life
* Waking up and breathing each morning

So I hope all of you are having a fabulous day. I know that I have been domestic today and am enjoying every minute of it. From washing sheets to doing dishes, life has been fun today and I would not trade it for anything.
