Mr. Smarty pants thought it would be funny to wake his older sister up this morning. It started at 6:50am, "Wakey, Wakey Elyse...time to get up." I told him ever so nicely to go away and leave me alone. I did not have to get up early this morning. Then at 7am, he comes in, pats me on the head and states "Wakey, Wakey Elyse...time to get up, everyone else is up." Not so nicely I told him to go away and leave me alone. Then at 7:10am, he comes back and says "ELYSE, wake up...get up RIGHT NOW...I am not kidding this time...everyone else is awake." What do I do? Laugh at Mr. Wakeup Man and tell him to leave me alone. I may be taking him to Dallas tomorrow morning, but not this morning.
Mr. Smarty pants thinks this whole senario was hilarious too. What a 13 year old brother does! Gotta love him...payback is now in the planning stages ;) Even though he drives me nuts sometimes, he is my FAVORITE boy and I am VERY Thankful for him :)
Happy Thursday!!!!

What a funny story! I hope you were able to get back to sleep!
Hahaha! Gotta love little brothers! I have a brother who's six years younger than I. There are times when we really could strangle them, isn't there?! My bro has overcome many challenges in his life. I admire him greatly.
Cute, cute brother you have! I bet the little girls chase after him! :o)
Just wait til you have kids! Don't sleep in too long...gotta enjoy the fam before it's time to go back to school!
ohh lil brothers are such tricksters!!!
Super funny... maybe you should do an audio recording of him to wake you at school!
HAHAHA So funny! Gotta love brothers, they're the best!;)
Let me know what your payback will be....I bet you do need a nap.
Awww you gotta love little brothers! I have a little sister so I can imagine :)
I probably would have started throwing things at him!
Doesn't your little bro know it's only okay to wake your sister on Christmas or in the event that the house is on fire? Poor kid doesn't know he's risking his very life by flaunting the rules!
This is what my kids do to me! Today's a "Snow Day" - don't they know they can sleep in!?! Funny story, though. I am sure that my daughter will be woken up tons by her brothers.
