Spillin' the beans

Earlier today, I mentioned via twitter that I was getting ready for a vacation (as well as Spring Break) and am starting to pack.

Well my friends...I am going on vacation with my family on Friday and will not be back for nine days! I will be giving up my Internet connection as well during these days, so no facebook, twitter, blog, computer, or www connection. I can not wait to go on vacation and have been saying for WEEKS that I need one so the time has come. :)

Hi sweet peeps! I will be back on Sunday, July 19th. My family (along with a friend for brother and a friend for sister) and I are going to a friend's party house lake house for the week. Another family will be meeting us there as well. I know Internet service will be scarce, so I will not (gasp) be blogging this week. I PROMISE to take tons of picts and to relax a little.

Let's go to the...beach

So it is 5am and my alarm just rang. Time to get up and start the day. Family and I are headed to the BEACH for a week!!! YAY!!! So the family and I have to be at the airport at 6:45 this morning. I need this vacation. I think for my sanity as well. I am very excited.

Thankful Thursday...

So today, there is LOTS to do. My family and I leave for vacation tomorrow and get back next Friday. I am so excited!!! I thought I could get away with not taking any work with me, but I was wrong. Oh well-we will be by the beach and it will just be different! I know, I know, I still have school work to do, but I will be away from home for a few days...YAY!!!

So now onto Thankful Thursday notes:
* VERY soft bed sheets with fabric softener-heaven in a square
* Water Bottles of cold water-heaven in a bottle that I can drink
* Wireless Internet
* Warm water for bathing with
* Frozen Juicy-Juice boxes-heaven

Lovely Tuesday...

Its Tuesday and I am up at 12:45am. WHY you ask? Short story is that my family and I were planning a vacation, got all excited, and were up late. I NEED a vacation very badly! The dates are set, now we are just looking into places and prices.

VBS is going great!!! The morning session is interesting. Seven boys and three girls today. The evening session is more low-key and easier (I think). I really love all my kiddos SO MUCH!!! By the end of the day though, I love my shower and clean clothes since the Texas heat gets to me.

Now to my confession-I have never really said that "God put something in my path" until now. I love working with kids, granted. But I also love the preschool and special needs ages. They are like sponges and so sweet. I truly believe that I am doing what God wants me to do.

In other news, Texas is hot and humid right now, go figure. College course is HARD but okay and I am allowing myself to have LOTS of fun this week!
