Coming home soon...

I got a call from my daddy tonight. Basically he was wanting to know when I was coming home. I have not been home in 2.5 months. With school, work, and life; things have gotten a tad busy, okay, REALLY busy. I have set a date though. I will go home on October 31st through November 2nd. I will also see one of my sister's last games (in the band) as a senior-tear!!! I can not believe my little sister is a senior. So my sister is a senior and my brother's voice is changing-oh where does the time go?

So I told my dad that I was coming home and he said that he would have to check his "schedule." I totally laughed at him. Who does he think he is talking to? His oldest baby who he has not seen in 2.5 months. My mom told me that he wanted to know when I would be at XXXX Lane and so I told him I would be on XXXX Lane on October 31.

My dad is so sweet and caring to me. We have a very special relationship that I have always cherished. He is one of my biggest supporters and I love him dearly!!!! In the picture is my little (not any more) sister and dad. Best picture I could find at this moment.

Coming home soon

Football Friday

Tonight I will be going to the Burleson vs. Abilene HS football game. My dad went to college and played ball with the A.D. and head football coach of Burleson HS. SO, I will be in the stands with his wife, four kiddos, and parents. I am so excited. The game is in Abilene and Burleson is expected to get killed, but none the less, I am excited to watch some high school football. I do miss it and all its excitement!

So I hope everyone has an exciting Friday night!!!

** UPDATE-Abilene crushed Burleson 49-14-Oh Well!

Have a wonderful evening!!!!

Football Friday

If anyone ever asked me what my favorite fall sport would be, I would have to say football. Ever since I was a little girl, I have liked watching football. In HS, I was the varsity football manager/water girl for four years. In college, I thought I would never have another opportunity to interact with the football player, boy was I wrong.

Yesterday when the boys came to the cafeteria for lunch, everyone said HI and smiled. I felt special to have them as friends. When football season does start, I am able to get on the field and take pictures for the school newspaper, which is so much fun!!! Not only do I see some of these guys in the spotlight, I am also able to have friendships with them.

Now I know anything is possible when you set your mind to it. My goal was to be able to interact with the football team and I do everyday. So here is a picture for Football Friday. Yes, the
season starts soon and I am SO EXCITED!!! Can ya tell? Now one of my favorite pastimes is
taking football pictures.

Thank goodness its Friday!!!
