Fifth grade thinks I'm funny

I've never had a real, good sense of humor. I mean, I can joke a bit but am not good at relating to people my own age. 

Never have been. 

However... 

Today, while subbing in fifth grade, they laughed at my sarcasm and humor. They told me I was funny and a good teacher. Who cares if they were sucking up?! I'll take it. 

I'll take that the students, above second grade, got my sense of humor. It was a nice change from family who doesn't think I'm that funny when I try to tell jokes! :)
