Wordful Wednesday

To say that this week has been hard would be an understatement. I am amazed at the resiliency children have and what I have lost. I have lost the ability to live a care-free or stress-free life. I have lost the ability to just not do something. I have lost a little sliver of my youth. Even though the teen years are gone, living care-free is still something I dream of doing. I got to thinking about how kids are so care-free and just want to have fun. I thought about how this sweet girl, Reece, loves life and lives it to the fullest. She has always been a huge supporter of her family/football team and me.

I am told that I am pretty and cool with zero strings attached. I am hugged and smiled at just because she wants to. This child allows me to feel like a kid again at games and get togethers. No one can take the spunk out of this child and I am so proud to be able to watch Miss Spunky grow up! Kids are told they have it easy, but in the end, they have the most fun too. When you go do something fun, have fun and feel like a care-free kid again...What do you have to lose?
