This weekend, some of my fraternity (
APO) friends and I spent the weekend at
Camp Carter. As my chapter president and I were making the trek to the camp, we discovered that it was across the forest from a prison, yes I said prison. So that in its self was a bit scary. Then the drive from the Retreat site to the sleeping posts was quite a bumpy/scary drive. You see the hill that we went down to get there was not paved and the hill to go up to the sleeping posts was basically at an 80% incline, so think about a roller coaster going up and then dropping. Scary stuff!!!
So to get back to this retreat site, you had to go down the hill and up the ROCKY road. That was an adventure in itself.
The retreat was VERY nice in itself and very informative. Yes it was a busy weekend and a very little sleep one, but it was fun and I learned a bunch of new things.
Hope you had a great weekend!!!
