I was approached by a man who said that he and his buddies were out of gas and it was a "little embarrassing" to ask me. He asked me if he could borrow some money for gas in exchange for me getting some really cheap steaks! Apparently he had some steaks in this big cooler he was hauling. My first reaction was no. He asked why not and I said because I did not take any thing from strangers and my second reason was in my gut, something felt wrong. So he went on his rejected way and I saw him try to ask others to help out.
Now here is my thoughts on this matter:
* Gas is really expensive and I can not just give out free money for it
* I do not take any thing from strangers
* Asking for gas money in exchange for "cheap" steaks is just weird!
* Something just did not feel right about this man and his story
Thought I would share my strange experience today and also say to TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS!!!
