The two band kids in the middle of the parents (my sister and friend) will be on their way to Indianapolis Wednesday for a band competition. The kicker is that my parents and brother will head up there Thursday and enjoy the COLD weather without ME, the one who loves the COLD. I am so jealous!!! Wish I could just hop on a plane and meet them, but no, I have class and college to attend to!!! My brother has school off for parent/teacher conferences and uh...I wish I could go too. A little jealousy never hurts though. I have already told my mom that I EXPECT pictures!!!!
I do believe this is so hard because this is the first time my family has gone on a trip without me! Not a small trip, a big trip. My brother and I had a LONG conversation last night and he said that he misses me. I miss my (baby) almost as tall as me brother. I am counting down the days until I get to go home and can not wait. I love college and its surrounding life, but I miss my family dearly. Oh and for the people who have asked, I only have Wednesday through Friday off for Thanksgiving.

I love cold weather! I love the Fall when the air gets brisk, the leaves crackle under my feet, the colors of the trees....ahhhh!

How much of a Thanksgiving break will you get? Our oldest son is at VT. He gets a week. Our high schooler gets Wed.-Fri.

I don't know how you can love the cold. Up here in Canada, most of us loathe it. But that's because it mostly goes down to below 30 and high windchill. But I'm glad you love it. I'd send you a pile of snow in the mail, but it'd probably melt..lol :)
