Today, well all week, in my Beginning Literacy class, we have been discussing the importance of reading aloud to children. One misconception is that adults and college students do not like being read to-well that is WRONG. My professor is taking time out of each class period to read
Bunnicula to us. Yes we are college students and being read to but it is LOTS of fun. Here are a few of my favorite books: (just a few as my list could go on and on)

Hope you all had a wonderful Friday and are looking forward to the weekend. Mine is already booked and has lots of stuff included in just two days. I do plan to relax a little. Have a great evening and read something that interests you.

I'm painfully familiar with all these books. My own two kiddos get two stories right before bedtime. Even though it seems like we have hundreds of childrens books...they always want to hear the same four books over and over again. Of course it's the same four you have listed on your blog!!!
we LOVE brown bear, brown bear...what do you see...I see a red bird looking at me. I could repeat that book in my sleep. It goes everywhere with Ethan.
I love reading and only hope my boys do too!!!
Happy Saturday!
I, too, am doing laundry today.
Question? What is"Bunnicula" What have I missed?
Much love,
Your Nonni
"One Fish, Two Fish" is one of our favorites around here :) Gotta love that Dr. Seuss when you've got toddlers in the house!
