Today started out get and ended sourly. My family and I had a great time at the Rangers game and they won 9-8. The last inning was wonderful and breath taking all at the same time. Then as we were talking out, one of our friends got his bag stuck up in the tree. I tried to get in down by jumping up and down but nothing happened.
Then I tried hoisting a girl up-failed attempt. So the third time was a real kicker. I realized that there were FIRE ANTS where I was standing and I had sandals on. What my luck. I immediantly jumped into action, poured ice water on both legs/feet, took medicine to stop the reaction, and then rubbed on Benedryl. Glad I packed that Benedryl.
After that, we came home and I took 2.5 teaspoons of Benedryl-liquid. Then I opened presents. Lots of stuff came for my new apartment in the fall and gift cards were a great bonus. Then I had cake and DID NOT get sung to. So when I have my birthday dinner on Sunday, the birthday song will be sung.
Now I have a confession to make: I do not like change and the effects of it. Here is the situation. When I recieve something new and do not like it, I tend to just speak and not worry about people's feelings, like I should. In all of most other instances, I think before I speak, but in a new situation, I do not. Case in point-when I recieved a few things that I was NOT crazy about tonight-I just said it and did not wait until a more appropriate time.
>>>>>> The lesson learned here-THINK before you SPEAK & PICK the appropriate time to voice opinions. Opinions DO MATTER, but remember to pick the best time to voice them.
NOW onto the apology: I will need to apologize to my MOM for not thinking before speaking in the morning. There are times when I do not even realize I am doing it until I see someone's reaction and then I get it.
There are times when someone hurts another and all it takes is an "I'm Sorry" and really mean it!!!
This birthday will be a birthday to remember with the red, hot fire ants and cool Ranger game.
Have a great weekend!!!
