It's Friday and I hurt...but its ok

It's Friday and I am so excited-why you ask? I hurt from working out. I really do not care that it is the weekend, well I do, but this is not the point. Some of the places that I hurt at, in this very moment, usually take weeks to hurt and get...so I am so excited!!! I know I'm corny, but that is okay! I am just EXCITED!!!

In other news, I have been drinking this protein enriched shake that I make about 1-2 times a day and it really helps me. I have more energy and I do not sit there and snack.
My protein shake includes:
* 1/4-1/2 cup of natural vanilla yogurt
* 1/4 cup crushed ice
* 2 T of milk
* 1 T of Rice Protein (12 grams of protein)
* 1-2 T OJ
* 1/2 cup fruit ( I have tried strawberries, pineapple, and canned peaches)
Mix it all up in blender and enjoy! To make it last longer, I use a straw.

If you are wondering why I use Rice Protein and not just any old mix. It is because I am allergic to soy, wheat, gluten, nuts, tree nuts, fish, and shell fish. This mix is the only one I found with all of this in it.

So I have basically 2 shakes a day and it just, in my opinion, makes me happier. I usually have one for Breakfast and one mid-afternoon. I know something I am doing is working since I have lost 3 pounds and am just happier now :) I did 200 sit ups without contest and was just happy I did that today! My goal is 500, which I am determined to reach soon!!

In other news, the house is so quite with the siblings still in school!!! Only a few more weeks until they are done with school. Oh Well!

I do have one prayer request: Allow me to sick to this plan since it is obviously working and keep my interest in what I am doing!

Whoa! I had no idea one person could be allergic to that many things! Geez that must be a pain when you go out to eat. Keep up all your hard work!
