Some of these things include:
* Kids who are not 21 yet posting pictures of them drinking alcohol on the Internet.
* Kids who are not 21 posting on facebook and putting their status with something to do with alcohol.
* Kids who are not 21 having hangovers and posting that on facebook.
As you might suppose, yes, I have a problem with kids under 21 getting drunk. I also have a problem with kids going out and drinking every weekend. It may be their prerogative to "have fun," but they can do this without alcohol. I guess I care too much! I can not help it. I have a heart!
I am fully aware that kids/young adults test the limits, but being stupid while doing something illegal is not very smart. Kids will learn yes, but how far do they have to go before they get caught? How far do they have to push? How did I get on this topic? Some of my contacts on facebook choose to put pictures on there with alcohol in their hands or on the table with them. They choose to say they have a 'hangover.' This business of kids and alcohol will always be an issue, but I guess it just bugs me. It bugs me too when they get behind the wheel. I am just bugged by the whole situation. I am also very concerned. Yes college students need to have fun, but they can do something without alcohol.
I am wondering how far some kids will go to have 'fun???'
My heart aches when someone does something stupid repeatedly. Yes kids experiment and try things, but over and over drives me nuts. I know what they are doing is wrong, but I can not do anything about it!!! This drives me crazy!!! Why would kids want to put them in a situation that could possibly kill them? I do not understand!!!
On another note, one of my friends told me to pray for this family who just lost their child. They are going through a REALLY TOUGH time right now and I would like you to pray as well. Their website is: http://audreycaroline.blogspot.com/. Please pray for this family. They are experiencing heart break!
Remember that your life was created by God and HE has plans for you. Do not mess it up by doing something intentionally stupid and dumb!
Thank you to those who take life one day at a time.
Life is precious!
That poor family. They are definitely in my prayers. :-(
