Usually I am in bed and asleep by now, but tonight had to be just an adventure in the making. Tomorrow, my family and I leave for Houston after I get off work at 1ish and dad comes home, so there was laundry to do, meals to be packed (taking all my own food account of my allergies), and things to be done.
Like any night before a trip, I am usually up late and get up way too early. I am a scheduler and check my lists twice before marking them done, so my life is a tad busy before trips. I also make sure my brother and sister have everything that they need and I am usually the one who runs to the market to get one last item in need.
Today, I am working from 7:45 to 1ish so my life is going to be a bit crazy. I will drink coffee in the am to get my jolt and then chase a 2.5 and 4.5 year old around for 6 hours. Then proceed home, pack up my stuff, shower, and hit the road. From where I live, Houston is about a 4.5 to 5 hour trip, so it will be long. I also have the pleasure of bringing along my Summer I work, since I have a test in Abilene (hint of sarcasm noted).
Have a wonderful Thursday!!!
Wave at Killeen as you pass through on your trip and have fun!
